Since 2020, Art-Public has worked with SkyRidge to curate and commission sophisticated contemporary public art projects that are a unique part of everyday life for SkyRidge residents. We developed a comprehensive public art strategy and curatorial framework in alignment with the ambitious SkyRidge project vision to deliver transformative legacy public art projects featuring exemplary local and leading Australian artists and makers. We are proud to have delivered two large scale wall-based artworks by Bronte Naylor and Loretta Lizzio; a sculptural feature wall by Claudio Kirac; a large scale sculpture by Michael Van Dam and a temporary sculptural artwork by Jasmine Mansbridge.
SkyRidge is the Gold Coast’s newest address; a transformative masterplan development that will deliver up to 3,500 dwellings, 75 hectares of major parklands and preserved conservation areas, and a future retail village centre located at the front door of the estate. They are building a healthy new community around the lifestyle that has made the Gold Coast one of Australia’s most desirable places to live.
